Foreshadowings of the End

I personally think its cute how people start talking all these plans when the subject of the government failing comes up.  Everyone has their own scenarios, most go the way of the new show Revolution, which is turning out to be a fine show I might add....

So many rumors persist about all sorts of militia movements, and uprisings if a certain president gets elected.  I know if any of it happens, I wouldn’t even want to be in this region of the world, because so many people are going to be warring against one another....  The depth of hatred would boil over, and civility would die along with civilization....

Its also funny how people want to rely so much on guns.  Admittedly, you need them, but in the end, guns fail, guns run out of ammo.  Its kind of a shame that so many of the swords that are sold in so many places are just display pieces, for when your gun fails, and you are face to face with your enemy, you’ll need more than fists to protect yourself.

I also enjoy when people talk about their plans, they talk as if they have it all figured out, with no backup plans, and refuse to listen to when you bring up valid arguments.  I know that a good majority of militia movements use religion to spread their way, almost cult like, but those that believe in militia movements, seem to have a religious fervor all their own.

Its truly scary getting into the locality of the US’s heartland....  People armed to the teeth, and being whipped into a frenzy by the mainstream media.  I wonder if Fox News truly understand the hate they are breeding with their rhetoric on TV?  They try to call Obama a socialist and paint him as Hitler, but they spread such lies and dissent its hard not to see them as the Nazi party, rallying troops against the impure....

All in all, I’m worried.  There is a powder keg of trouble the US is sitting on, and if the media doesn’t stop its misinformation, its going to explode.  I see it every day, in small town USA, the old watching the news, and then going to oil their guns with what they’ve seen....  I pray it doesn’t come, but it looks to creep closer and closer every day....
