The Ballad of the Emerald Bard is an ongoing series of novel length collections of short stories by Dan Bonser.
In them, El'Mindeeya Do'Katal, the Emerald Bard, lives the life of an unassuming traveling elven minstrel. She has more secrets than she can count and keeping those secrets can sometimes mean life or death. Along with a HUGE cast of colorful characters, this character driven fantasy series is epic in scale, adult in nature, and fun in spirit.
